We gathered here the most frequently asked question by guests before booking.

I am interested. How do I book?

Please write us an email, fill out the contact form or the inquiry form. At the moment we do not provide automated booking procedure, we like to have a discussion with our guests.

I am vegetarian. Is it a problem?

No! We are happy to offer you vegetarian food made of mainly locally grown vegatables. Also gluten free diet is possible. Please remember to announce us at booking about your special need.

All included- what does that mean?

It means that from the moment you arrived to our guesthouse, we provide three meals a day, drinking water and also some alcoholic beverages.

And of course, we provide the horse and equiment for the tour, and the guide.

What should I bring for the tour?

Your riding equipment, for sure. Helmet we can provide, but no other equipments are available. So please, bring your boots, chaps, riding pants etc.

Also it is good to have sun screen, protection against mosquitos, medicaments in case you need. And all your personal items.

How do I get to you?

We are located in the middle of Transylvania, central part of Romania. We have three airports close to us:

Târgu Mureș Transilvania Airport (TGM)
Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV)
Cluj “Avram Iancu” International Airport (CLJ)

In case you don’t find flights to the above mentioned airports, you can always fly to Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP).

Do you provide airport transfer?

Yes! We also provide airport transfer from all airports. Prices differ, of course based on the distance. There are also special offers when airport transfer is included in the price of tour – please check the description of the tours.

In case you don’t like the transfer idea, you can always rent a car, so you can also visit different tourist destinations on the road. – this is what most of our guests choose.

I am beginner. Can I still book for a tour?

No! Our tours are only suitable for good intermediate to experienced riders who are confident in all paces.

You must be able to handle a horse at speed in a group situation and be comfortable riding over rough terrain.

Some natural obstacles also need to be negotiated. You also need to be healthy and physically fit.

What is the age limit? What about weight?

On long tours we take only guests over 18. Teenagers who are intermediate to advance riders can participate with their parents, or the parent’s approval.

Weight limit is 90 kg (200 lb).

What happens with my luggage during a long tour?

Our luggage is always carried by the service car from point to point.

Depending on the tour you book for, you will stay a few nights in our guesthouse but also at some different locations.

Do we have a saddle bag for us?

We always have saddle bag with us during a riding tour, but not one for everyone and not on every horse.

Based on the number of the guests, we take one or two saddle bags total with us. In this we pack our drinking water, a small first aid kit and some minor personal items – if needed. All other items and luggage are transported by car.
